“音差阳错，别再说错”公关活动是由新纪元大学学院媒体研究系，2018年5月份学期二年级学生所举办。此次是以“华语语音”作为我们的活动主题。

​该活动宗旨是提升普罗大众对“华语语音标准化”的意识以及了解马来西亚华语圈华语语音的现况。

 

近年来，本地华语圈华语语音已逐渐被污染，马来西亚民众对于华语语音标准化的意识并不高。然而，对于能够说上一口标准华语的海外华语圈人士而言，这将成为彼此沟通上的障碍。他们会因发音上的差异或口音上的偏差而产生误解，进而影响谈话质量。

 

因此，我们希望透过本次活动从而改变本地华人忽视华语语音标准化的心态，亦希望借此传达以下信息：

一、提高马来西亚民众对标准华语语音发音的认知。

二、提升媒体从业人员、中文教育工作者和学生（13岁至23岁）的华语发音。

"Standard Mandarin Chinese Pronunciation" is organized by 2018 May Public Relations Campaign Planning students from New Era University College Media Studies Department. The theme of this campaign is to encourage public to standardize their Chinese pronunciation.

​

Besides, the purpose of this activity is to enhance the general public's awareness of "Standardize Mandarin Chinese Pronunciation" and enable the public to understand the current situation of Chinese pronunciation of Malaysian.

​

Malaysian Chinese's awareness of the standardization Chinese pronunciation is not high nowadays and it creates a barrier for Malaysian to communicate with each other, especially foreigner from a Chinese spoken country. In addition, it creates misunderstanding as well because of differences in their pronunciation or accents, which can affect the quality of the conversation.

 

Hence, we hope to change the environments of people who think that speaking improper Chinese is a norm in Malaysia and we also wish to convey the following objectives through this campaign:

1. To raise public awareness on the standard Chinese pronunciation.

2. To improve the standard Chinese pronunciation among the students aged 13 - 25 years, media practitioners, and Chinese educators in Malaysia.
